An internet gambling bill working its way through the New Jersey
legislator would allow Atlantic City riversweeps casino to take bets from
gamblers in other states and even other countries, as long as federal and
national governments agree it is legal.
The measure was approved Tuesday by a state
Senate committee . Nevertheless, the bill faces a series of obstacles,
including possible legal challenges, lingering objections on
the part of Government Chris Christie, and a riversweeps question by

“This is another step forward toward my goal of New Jersey becoming the
Silicon Valley of Internet gaming, generating hundreds of millions in

seniors and the disabled, ”said Senator Raymond Lesniak, a northern
